There are many commercial planners and advisers who offer wealth planning services, but often coercing you into some specific route.

I am of the opinion that an individual must make his own plan, make his own investments, by understanding and taking full responsibility of these decisions. Furthermore, they must take ownership of the plan and monitor it regularly to truly benefit from it. Surely they will do much better with some help and education.
